Starting an Online Business

Putting the millionaire mind to work – There are so many internet business opportunities out there that can contribute to your online earning streams that it is really a matter of identifying what fits you best personally and economically. Unfortunately in the beginning there are no easy buttons to push that will guarantee you overnight success but if you understand what you are doing from the start, work to a plan and stick to it, you can become a millionaire online much sooner than a lot of other people.

Of course developing the correct mindset and learning from someone who has already done the hard yards are two of the most essential key success factors in starting an online business and growing it successfully. I tell you it will be so much easier than trying to discover how to achieve success from home (or anywhere for that matter) all on your own.

Online Earning Business Models

Affiliate Sites – These are the simplest to get up and running for you to earn money online. You do not need to stock products, process payments, ship items and deal with customer service issues. The disadvantage is that due to their relative simplicity in implementing compared to other businesses, affiliate sites are quite popular hence most of the good niches have quite a few players in them. Don’t be discouraged though cause if the market research is done right gold can still be found in the keywords.

Once your site is up and getting traffic (more on that later) you must test and implement different methods of making a persons visit memorable enough for them to bookmark your site for return visits. You can do this by offering free stuff such as an eBook related to the subject they are searching for, free training course delivered by email etc. An important point you must understand from the beginning is that most successful online business opportunities do provide immense value to their visitors in order for them to flourish.

It may sound overwhelming to the beginner but trust me it will all get easier over time. In a lot of cases owners of the products you are promoting have excellent promotional material that you can use to promote their products with. They have learnt the ropes so to speak and fully realize the value of the repeat visitor.

Adsense Sites – Adsense takes advantage of Google’s paid advertisement network whereby you can build themed sites, apply for a Google Adsense account, put up content and drive traffic to the site. You earn revenue by the visitor clicking on an adsense advert on your site. These types of internet income generating sites are also quite easy for the beginning internet entrepreneur to get started off with although there are quite a few tips and tricks available to maximize your revenue from this online business opportunity. You can quite easily discard those fears and switch your mental attitude into positive overdrive by changing your mindset to how entrepreneurs and successful people think. It is all a matter of mind training and you need to start now to embrace the millionaire mind to enable you to begin to realize your life goals and easily focus on their accomplishment with a fresh and clear perspective.

Online Earning – Adsense Part 2 Research

Doing Things the Millionaire Mind Way – In a previous post I dealt on the topic of building your internet income site around high paying keywords that you can research using Google’s free adwords keyword tool. This was after taking the time out to research why my existing sites were not returning expected results after all the time, effort and care involved in building them. Thanks entirely to developing my millionaire mind set I did not turn my back on it thinking that it was too difficult to carry on. Continuing on from my previous post keyword research is by far the most important factor in ensuring a successful adsense internet income. While it is all very well to target the high value keyphrases, by their very nature some of these key phrases are quite competitive so in a lot of cases it will be quite a challenge to get page one ranking in Google which is where you ideally want to be at to get serious traffic and earn decent online income.

By targeting the long tail phrases in the market you are focusing on you need to find out the low competition keywords which are easier to rank for then build up from there. By low competition I mean less than 20,000 competing pages in Google for the phrase match which means the results of the search of that phrase in quotation marks.

After completing your research it is now time to decide your site platform. Will it be a traditional HTML site or a blogging platform. Going by the rapid Google indexing of blogging platforms most notably WordPress blogs this is really a no-brainer. A WordPress blog on your own hosting account is the way to go. This would ensure that this is your own property to sell later if you so desire. More of that in future posts. By adding fresh relevant content regularly your sites integrity and ranking will be increased far more rapidly than a traditional static HTML website.

Online Earning Success – Plan to Grow

Starting an online business and growing it successfully takes work and planning. Adsense though while relatively slow if done correctly and methodically can be built up quite successfully over the course of a year or less to give you a decent source of income. Again it is all about focusing on a vision and planning to succeed. This is all made possible and the task made easier by implementing your millionaire mind.

There are a lot of keyword tools out there however a good free one to start with is Google’s free adwords keyword tool. With search volumes now a part of the results it gives you a good indication of what keywords to target. You can take these and then drill down further to discover more gold. Build on these first and as your site starts ranking in Google target the next most competitive set which is 50,000 – 100,000 phrase match. Your rankings will steadily rise over time.

There are of course quicker ways to gain traffic and rankings such as article marketing, social networking etc, but these are a bit more detailed and are topics that I will discuss in later online money making ideas posts.
